WELCOME!
My name is Dodie Milardo. I have written a romance novel and have decided to use it to raise funds for non-profit organizations. As a result of changing my focus from author to fundraiser, I have started a company called:
To Give Is Divine, Ltd.
My Mission: Our mission is to partner with non-profit organizations to help them raise funds by creating and implementing innovative fundraising campaigns and donating a significant amount of the net profits to their causes.
My motivation: I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband, family and everything I need and I can’t just stay in my nice warm house with a refrigerator full of food and do nothing, when there are so many people in our country who are hurting.
Fundraising Background: I have been volunteering since I was a child, when I rallied my friends together and we made Easter baskets for kids in need. Most recently, I am very proud to have received the 2008 Volunteer of the Year Award from the Lyme/Old Lyme Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. This agency assists children at risk and their families and has a budget of $10 million this year. I am including this to validate that I am serious about my desire to help those in need.
I have a great deal of enthusiasm, energy, determination and positive attitude – tools which I will use to MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
